Twenty Years from now

You will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than the things that you did.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover.

What the Mail Brought!

My Revell contract. I am still stunned. How could an amateur like me sell to a publisher like Revell?

Wooohoooo! Now that's something to snoopy dance about.

And sweetie, you write beautifully. I love your words, your sensory details (I'm re-reading an article you did on those to bring such thing more into my writing).

I'm so happy for you! I hope you can feel my hugs! Congrats!

You are not an amateur, Laurie Alice. You are a consummate professional and I hope one day I can be as good of a writer as you are! You have earned every last bit of ink on that contract.
